Liverpool manager Arne Slots has responded to media questions about his Instagram post about Mohamed Salah. Saying he was not interested in it and was focusing on talking to him face to face.
After the 2-1 home win over Brighton, in which Salah scored the winning goal. He posted a message on Instagram. In which he said that scoring at Anfield will always be the best in his mind “no matter what happens”. This has led to various interpretations UFABET
However, after being asked about this during a press conference ahead of the Champions League clash with Leverkusen. The Dutch boss insisted that he did not watch and was not interested in it. But rather focused on the face-to-face conversation.
“You interpret things in a way that other people might not. I don’t look at any player’s Instagram posts. I focus on the conversations, which is something you can’t do. That’s the advantage I have… Mo is in a very good place at the moment.” Slots said.
“As long as he’s at Liverpool he’s in a very good place and this season too. I hope he posts it again tomorrow (after Leverkusen) and again on Saturday (against Aston Villa). But for me what he says about it doesn’t matter.”
“The only thing that matters to me is how he plays and what he says to me when we talk. Which is important no matter how you interpret what he posts. I didn’t talk to him about it, we talked about Leverkusen because the team should focus all their attention on the quality they have.”
